31 Days of Virtues for our Children

I can't believe it is already March, 2012! We have anticipated this year ever since the spring of 2000 when my oldest daughter graduated from kindergarten, but I always thought it was so far out in the future. Not so. It is here and now, and thoughts of high school graduation, ceremonies, parties, college are consuming our thoughts and most of our conversation!

For the month of March, I am going to do a daily post of 31 different biblical virtues to pray into our children. I am going to use these prayers as a guide and claim and believe that God is working each one of these virtues into my children's lives. Day 1

Salvation

Lord, I pray that my children would obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

... that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
